November 28, 2023 - Eagle County residents are invited to the Dedication Ceremony for the Eagle County Wall of Honor. This  installation of bronze plaques in the Eagle County building honors County residents who made the ultimate sacrifice in World War I, World War II, Korea, Vietnam, and the Global War on Terror.

“A prominent location on the main floor of the Eagle County Building, near the entrance, was chosen for the Wall of Honor,” said Commissioner Kathy Chandler-Henry. “It serves as a reminder to visitors to the county building that our freedom is not free, and we honor those United States military service members who paid with their lives.”

The ceremony will feature a color guard with local Veterans of Foreign Wars members, the singing of the National Anthem by Michelle Cohn Levy, the Cantor at B’nai Vail, opening prayer by US Navy Chaplain Retd, Rabbi Joel Newman, and remarks by Eagle County Commissioner Kathy Chandler-Henry.
